Carina Redsox is one of the largest baseball clubs in Queensland. We cater for all ages and levels of play, fielding teams in all age groups and divisions from Tee-ball through to Queensland’s premier senior baseball competition: Division 1. We are based at the Clem Jones Sporting Complex, Zahel St Carina. 

We will be commencing our pre-season program shortly. Our sign on portal is expected to be open from early August. New players are welcome. If you would like any information about playing with us this season please contact:

Junior Vice President – junior players (from 4years – 15years)

Senior Vice President – senior (15+ to adults) players.

⚾️🔴🔵AGM - Save the Date

Brisbane Metro Baseball wishes to advise Member Clubs and their Members, that we will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 31st July 2024, commencing at 7:00pm. The location has yet to be confirmed, but the AGM will be held in-person this year.

In accordance with our constitution, all positions on the management committee will be declared vacant. These positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar and General Committee.

Nominations will open up closer to the date, however if you are interested in finding out more about any of the positions, please do not hesitate in reaching out to brisbanemetrobaseball@gmail.com and we will be happy to discuss how you will be able to help make a positive impact to baseball in our Region.

Attention junior families ...*** EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN ***

Registrations for the 2024 Futures League Juniors competitions are now open for all players in the U14, U16 and U18 age groups. Proudly presented by Baseball Queensland and the Brisbane Bandits, this year’s program will aim for multiple divisions to ensure all interested players are eligible to be drafted into a team. U14s will play doubleheaders on five consecutive Sundays between 11 August and 8 September. U16s and U18s will play the same format, but start a week later on Sunday, 18 August and finish on 15 September.

Registrations for the 2024 Futures League Open Women’s competition are now open for all players ages 15-30. The draft will feature teams selected from players 15-30, plus two out-of-age players per team. Games will be played on five consecutive Friday nights starting 16 August and ending on 13 September. Now in its third year, the Futures League Open Women’s program is proudly presented by Baseball Queensland and the Brisbane Bandits.
