Carina Leagues Redsox Baseball Club are proud to announce that Wayne Ough will be joining the club as Head Coach for the 2015 season, replacing 2014 caretaker coach Scott Mulhearn. Ough began his minor league career out of college in 2000 drafted by the Mets organisation, reaching AA in 2004.  He pitched three games at the 2004 Athens Olympics without conceding a run, helping the Aussie’s bring home the silver medal. Having played for Carina back in 2003-2004 during his off season with the Mets, Ough said he’s looking forward to returning in 2015 “I look forward to coming on board this season.  I have great support from Jo & the Committee, and I know that we have a winning combination this year.  I’m excited about recruiting and building pathways and helping players develop the tools to support continual improvement.  Creating the programs and culture that will produce skilled, confident, and intelligent ball players at every level.” Ough said he knows the importance of building a strong team, with the right chemistry, desire, and attitude.  A team of players hungry for success and driven by common goals. “Hard work, respect, working together as a team, and pushing each other in a positive form, that is...
